I have to say that I too think Baseball is a pretty boring sport, even playing for that matter. Not enough action. But I do like going to the minor league games when the occasion should arise. The price is right and every seat in the house is good. They usually have a lot to watch, and all of the fields I have been to are very nice. I don't go so much for the game as I do for the experience. My kids seem to like it too.

To tell the truth, I've never been big on baseball myself. Watching on TV seems pointless. Watching a live game is pretty fun. Playing is better.

But -- soccer?!? Sheesh. Talk about boring! Of course, it's more likely that your body will get hurt when the crowd riots. :)

My favorite sport is hockey. It's at least as physical as (American) football, and much faster paced. Basketball is also good, as far as action goes, but I've just never really gotten into it for some reason.

Of course, none of these hold a candle to the One True Sport -- Curling!

Can't understand for the life of me how can you people like such a boring game. Do the rest of the world a favour and watch the true and beautiful sport the rest of the world breathes: soccer. At least, you won't get your windshield damaged, eh?

Minor league games are a lot of fun to go to. While on vacation, I went to a single A team, the Keys, and admission was like 7 bucks, and they ran promos between every single inning, and after the game, there was a fireworks display.

Yes. We were quite impressed by the huge color screen on the scoreboard. Of course, when your parent team is the Atlanta Braves, you can afford niceties like that. ;)

We were also impressed by the $5 ticket prices. Though, the concession prices certainly weren't discounted. We spent more on food than we did on tickets.

Isn't that park in Rome nice, though? Looks awful pretty from the loop.
