Weight Goal

My weight on the scale this morning was 252 pounds, and my trend weight is less than half a pound higher than that. That puts me at right around 20 pounds lost since early September. I’ve had to add two notches to my belt, as well. If we hadn’t eaten out at restaurants so much this past weekend, I might have dipped down below 250. I expect to do that by next week, though.

Congrats on the loss (rarely get to say THAT, eh?).

Nice blog, by the way. I’m going to have to keep watching what a fellow geek keeps us posted on.

I should probably use you and your goal as motivation. I’m 6′ 249lbs and at my best weight when I married 15 years ago, I was 195lbs… that was my fit weight from playing basketball, etc. 15 years later here I am two waist sizes bigger. I have two young children (daughter 5.5 years and son 2.5 years) which gives me some motivation too. I don’t want my son, in about 5 years, asking me to play catch and I can’t because I am huffing and puffing from being so out of shape.

Women aren’t the only ones that are concerned about their weight.

I may have to make myself an excel chart and come back and mark your progress and secretly compete against you ;)

Congrats and keep up the good work!
