The more controversial he can make a topic, the more traffic it will churn up. Dvorak is not a dumb person. He knows exactly what he's doing. I came really close to adding <code>rel="nofollow"</code> to the article link, but that seemed kind of petty :) Anybody who believes his viewpoint on that particlar subject probably doesn't matter to the Linux and OSS communities, anyways. Let's come back and revisit this subject in about two or three years, and see where things stand vis a vis Linux and Intel Macs. Then we'll know who was right. Like I said: he likes to stir the pot. He's declared Apple dead at least a half dozen times and derides everything they do, and now he's calling them a threat to Redmond and Linux(!) because they'll be switching chips? I have to agree with you. Linux can only benefit from a more concentrated effort.
