A while back, I noted that blo.gs was up for sale. More recently, there was a notice that a buyer had been found, but the identity of the buyer remained secret for a while. Now we know who it was.
I’d say that the service is in good hands.

Should we take this with a pinch of salt?
No salt needed. I meant that sincerely. Over the last couple of years, Yahoo! has been demonstrating that it ‘gets’ blogs. I’m guessing that their absorption of blo.gs is a strategic move to guarantee a good source of real-time update information. Plus they’ll have some interesting statistics about bookmark popularity.
Does any one know something about the prize?
To reiterate: Yahoo is moving. Today also announces the Yahoo purchase of blo.gs. The “Y” graphic already appears in my address bar. They move fast. Kudos to Jim Winstead on his sale! What is blo.gs? A ping infrastructure.
Yahoo’s getting it’s mojo back in the last several months
Nice, congrats!
