We did try to apply for a "DOUGAL" plate earlier, and we were told that it was "unavailable", so at first I thought it was the same problem. But later, when we were registering another vehicle, Susan asked again, and she was told that "DOUGAL2" was available. So it looks like "DOUGAL" is acceptible, but already taken. When I renew at the end of the year, I might get "DOUGAL3", since I'm a "third". Hi, Peter!
