The Sandbox Designs Competition is over, and the results are in. The overall winner was the Sandpress theme. That theme was one of my favorites. When I get a few minutes to back through them again, I’ll try to write up my list of favorites, and what I like and dislike about each theme.
All in all, there were some very nice designs in the competition. I could tell that the designers all put a lot of work into their designs. Even the designs that didn’t manage to collect any of the judges small pool of points deserve kudos, and I encourage everyone to look at all of the entries, not just the official winners.

As for me, Moo Point is the possible best. Despite there’s some strange moments like aligning ot the text title of the site.
Those grey-marine-pink colors used in Sandpress resembles me trendy emo-style
I personally don’t think the sandbox theme is all that great, although I do like the three-column setup. I wouldn’t even know where to begin designing this, though, so I guess I have to give this one credit.
Even i have the same question. Where can i find other skins for sandbox?
My personal favorite was Veracity (or something like that, I don’t exactly remember). But tbh I was sort of disapointed with the designs, maybe the prize was too low to attract hot shot WP designers.
Looks nice, and I like the name “Sandpress”, pretty clever. Congratulations to Arpit Jacob!
