Hey there, have any one tried to have a tattoo done over the webbed feet? I have my 2nd and 3rd on both feet and before considering surgery I thought of other options. A straight lined down tattooed between the 2 feet should do the trick. What do you think?

hi, i'm an 18 year old girl who has webbed 2nd and 3rd toes on both feet up to my nail beds, making them quite obvious. My toes were never an issue up until around the age of 11. I never wear open toe shoes and do not enjoy going to the beach or swimming pool with my friends because i am embarrassed - mostly because not many people know about my toes. My parents had the option of getting them separated when i was a baby but they didnt feel it neccessary to put me through the pain as it was something 'minor'. However, i wish their decision had have been different. Apparently two of my cousins toes are exactly the same as mine, however i have never seen or talked to them about it. I went to my GP about this problem about 4 years ago and further sent to see a specialist who declined the separation of my toes as soon as i described it to him. Feeling there was no hope made me extremely upset as it is something i am very conscious of. I would be 110% willing to have a surgical seperation of my toes if it was made available to me, but i do not know how to go about this, any help? Much appreciated

I've tried it. The skin always comes back to form. It seems the skin on the bottom of the toes is tougher. I've tried putting hair clips stretched over the skin between the toes. That seems to work for awhile, giving the appearance of separation. But the skin always moves back in place.

Maybe if your toes aren't webbed as much it may work. Mine are webbed up to just under the nails. That's alot of stretching. Any way, I'm happy with my toes the way they are. I've been wearing sandals all summer, everywhere I go and no one seems to notice. If they have, they haven't said anything. If I'm not at work I have sandals on and lovin' it.

ok, this is gonna sound really weird, I guess i sorta have webbed toes but just barely (almost up to first knuckle or whatever) and was thinking if it's just more skin thats needed why not just stretch it?

(weird part) people use this to restore the damage of circumcision and grow new foreskins so if they can grow that much skin (basically double) why couldn't it work for this situation?

anyway, I was starting to place a rubber band around my heel and going between the toes, obviously this will take time but could work (supposedly stretching as little as 20-30min a day is enough to trigger skin expansion.

I never been too concerned about my toes as it's not really noticeable but figured I'd try it
