   Hi everyone!

   My 16 month old had her syndactyly (conjoined middle and ring fingers on her right hand)surgery a few months ago, her post surgery scarring is really bad, our occupational therapist said that she has Hypertrophic scars, that's usually a hereditary thing.. I wonder whether there's anyone else here reading my post who has/had similar experience, whether it was a surgery for toes or fingers, how did you care for your scars? What actually helped?

   We do deep tissue massage, I also use Mepiform bandaids on my daughter, Mepiform seems to help a little... would love to talk about this with someone!

   Hi there, i read your post and was going to suggest bio oil but i see from googling your blog you have already come accross it. In january i had two of my toes seperated (im 20 by the way) and i would say they are fully healed now, my scars are slightly similar to your daughters in the sense that they are in a bumpy form, where they have put the skin graft it seems to be more raised then the rest of the skin but as its between my toes its not so noticable.
   i know this doesn't really help but i just thought i would reply.
