Hi, everyone. I am a 22 year old female and I have webbed feet. The second and third toes on both of my feet are partially webbed. However, no one else in my family has webbed feet. I didn't know that I had webbed feet until I was about 18-19. I always knew there was something different about them, but I was never able to pin point what the difference was. Duh.
I wear open-toe shoes in the summer a lot, but I've never had anyone ask me about my toes or comment on them. Other people on this forum seem to have had others ask them about their feet or suggest getting a surgery. I never had to deal with that. Maybe most people don't notice that I have webbed feet. Or maybe they do not want to be rude. There was only one time in my life when I had someone react weirdly at my feet. I was riding light rail and there was a girl (maybe 18-20 y.o.) sitting across from me. She looked at my feet and then she got a weird expression on her face as she looked at my face. She didn't say anything, though.
