When Farrell Eaves dropped his digital camera in to a New Mexico pond, he thought that surely it must be ruined. But he fished it out and spent a few days drying it out, even tying the camera to the windshield wiper of his car as he drove down the highway. Surprisingly, he found that the camera still worked. But with a new vision of reality….
The images now produced are surrealistic, filled with vibrant colors, and sometimes portions of the image become ethereal. The effect is quite beautiful, turning ordinary subjects into extraordinary artworks. You can find more info from National Geographic photographer Bruce Dale (click the link on the left titled “Mr Eaves and his Magic Camera”).
If I dropped an $800 camera into water, I’m sure all I would end up with would be a very expensive paperweight.

I love that page… and yeah, I’d get a paperweight too!
Hey Dougal, I was thinking of starting an Earthdawn campaign and thought of you for info on good resources… drop me a line if you get a chance!

Don’t you know that I am the Master of my own Domain? You can reach me at superfantasticalgroovyguy@gunters.org. Or you could just use dougal@gunters.org if it’s easier to remember.
Not sure how much help I’ll be able to give you with EarthDawn, though…. It’s been forever since I played…. Like back in the Imagination Unlimited days.
