Alex has announced the winners of the WordPress CSS Style Competition. Voting was difficult, as there were many excellent entries. I was pleased to see that two of my favorites (Rubric and Human Condition) were winners.

Wow! I can see why judging the contest would have been very difficult - the designs were all excellent! I particularly like Rubric’s, because I felt like I could pick up his pen right off the page. And being an Auburn grad, I’m also very partial to BA Khan’s BLOrange design.
I am looking for informations for a beginner like me and how to make links like http://www.blog.com/category and not like this http://www.blog.com/?cat=1
I made a list of some really great themes for WordPress here. I think these are better than these winners…
