Easy Gravatars with Google Analytics Plugin

Several people have reported problems using my Easy Gravatars plugin together with Joost de Valk’s Google Analytics Plugin for WordPress. I spent some time looking over the code yesterday and found the conflict. I sent a patch to Joost, and he has released version 1.4 of his Google Analytics plugin. I hope to release a new version of Easy Gravatars with some new features sometime next week, as well.

Thanks for the fix! Sorry for what may be a stupid question — I uploaded the 1.4 to my host, dreamhost, via ftp, but Wordpress is not acknowledging it — the plugin page still tells me that an upgrade is available and still shows 1.3. Any hints to a newbie as to how to deal with that?

Make sure you uploaded the files over the old ones. Did you maybe upload the new folder as a sub-folder of the old plugin? You’ll have to poke around in your FTP client to see what you can figure out.

Thank you so much for the fix. I had some trouble with the previous version of the plugin but after installing version 1.4 everything is back to normal. I’m checking the Easy Gravatars 1.1 right now and probably I’ll post some remarks soon.
