Images, Tables, and Mysterious Gaps

Yet another reason to migrate to standards compliant [X]HTML. When newer browsers are in strict mode, images in tables don’t always line up the way you expect them to. This isn’t due to any bugs in the new browers. Quite the contrary. It’s because they are correctly implementing the specifications for how to render images in relation to text (even if there’s no text around them).
