Weight Goal

I weighed in today at 256 pounds, which is 4.5 pounds lighter than last Monday, but 2 pounds higher than my low point of 254. It’s really amazing how much one weekend of carefree enjoyment of food can affect your body, and how long it takes to recover from it. But, I’m still down more than 15 pounds from when I started, and I can feel the difference in my clothes. I’m back to wearing some of my older jeans, and even those feel loose in the waist. I also need to either punch a new notch in my belt or buy a new one.

Granted, I haven’t been strictly following our eating plan over all of last week, either. We went to the Stone Mountain Highland Games on Saturday, and sampled a few tasty treats there. And hey, wow — another sucky web site. If anybody who has pull with the organizers of the SMHG sees this, let them know that their web site really needs some improvement. Yikes. 8-O

On the other hand, the National Peanut Festival website, which I complained about last year, has vastly improved. Well, at least it looks a lot better, visually. The pages don’t validate, and they’re using table-based layout. But at least it looks professional, now.

Weekends have always been my problem on my weight loss program. Either slacking on the working out or just eating a little more than I should. I cannot resist to eat my Mom’s cooking when I visit Chicago. That an all the other tasty food.

Yeah, I really should have started my weekly weigh-ins on Fridays instead of Mondays ;)
