12 Responses to Kia MyUVO – Reset and Initialize UVO

  1. I have a Samsung Galaxy S4 and the media streaming suddenly stopped working. I unpaired and repaired my phone with UVO several times and it still kept saying “no media found. Insert disc or USB cable”. I didn’t want to make another trip back to the dealer (media streaming stopped working once before) so I did some checking on the Internet and found this blog. After a week of no media streaming it was restored in less than a minute to the last song that was playing last week when it suddenly stopped working! Thank you so much!

    Where is the “Reset” button?

Thank you so much. I found the reset this morning and was able to enjoy my favorite music. Before finding you Doug, my daughter had convinced me to take my Soul in for servicing–you saved the day.

My 2013 kia didn’t have a reset button & my radio isn’t working

Same problem here. 2013 kia forte. Nothing with audio works. Any ideas? Checked fuses, disconnected battery…still nothing.

If there’s no button next to the volume button, there may be a small button next to the DISP button at the CD opening. Press that and it should reboot.

Worked great on my 2014 Kia Rio. The reset button was on the right side of the dash, just left of the Tune button.
